Coco Spadoni is an artist and arts advocate based in Seattle, WA. They earned their B.A. in Cultivating Community Activism through Art at Western Washington University in 2015. After graduating Spadoni decided to prioritize the sustainability of arts and culture based organizations in Seattle. They are currently working for Hugo House as a Front Desk and Programs Assistant, trade their time as a work-study at Pottery Northwest, and support Rockland Residency as a grant writer.
Spadoni works across mediums, but is particularly drawn to ceramics, installation, and video. They strongly believe there is a power to the way that our everyday actions and rituals position us politically. Appropriating objects or imagery from everyday life, Spadoni (re)imagines our relationship to them and therefore the way we understand the complexities of queer, conflicting and liminal identities.
